Our Mission

We are delighted to be opening the Noah’s Friends Charity Shop in the heart of Dumfries.

This shop is more than just a place to find pre-loved treasures. It’s a space that supports families who have experienced neonatal journeys, loss, or the challenges of early parenthood.

Every item donated and every purchase made helps us continue our mission of providing comfort, resources, and community through Noah’s Friends.

By shopping or donating, you are directly supporting our work with families in need.

What We Accept

We warmly welcome donations of:

Good quality clothing (adults’, children’s, and baby wear)
Shoes, bags, and accessories
Homeware and kitchen items
Books, games, and toys
Small electrical items in safe, working order
Baby items (excluding car seats, mattresses, and prams for safety reasons)

If you’re unsure whether we can accept an item, please just ask – we’re happy to guide you.

If you have a larger collection or need help with transport, please contact us to arrange where possible.

Our Intention

The shop will be run by volunteers and friends of the charity, with all proceeds going straight back into our work supporting families. Our hope is that the shop becomes not only a place to find affordable, good-quality items but also a welcoming corner of the community – a reminder that even in difficult times, kindness and connection are close at hand.
